Getting to know Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne is the second largest city in Indiana and the county seat of Allen County. It sits where three rivers meet: the St. Joseph, the St. Marys and the Maumee.

The settlement dates back to 1794, and you can still feel that history downtown, along the riverfront and in the older streets around the center of the city. It's also the hub of Northeast Indiana, in Allen County, the largest county in the state.
